My name is Carly Smith. I have been in the child care field for 5 years. I started
at AFCCC in December 2009. I am currently taking classes for my teaching credential. My hobbies include spending time with
family and friends, playing with my 2 daughters and reading.
My future plans are to continue my education in Early Childhood
and receive my Bachelor's degree to teach preschool or kindergarten. Something interesting about myself is that
I was born in Alaska and lived there until I was 12. I chose to enter the child care profession because I have experience
with two children of my own. I enjoy teaching and watching children grow developmentally. I pride myself in being a part of
the growth and education of today's youth and tomorrow's future!
My name is Candis Spindler. I have been in the child care field for 3 1/2
years. I started at AFCCC in February of 2011. My education includes a degree from UWEC in Elementary Education and Learning
Disabilities. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, fishing and hunting. My goals and future plans include
teaching 5th grade in a small school district. Something interesting about myself is that I have wanted to become a teacher
since I was in 5th grade and am still striving for that goal. I chose to enter the child care profession because I love to
be a role model for children and make a positive impact on their lives. I love working at AFCCC and getting to know all of
the children. If you ever have a question or concern, feel free to talk with me.
